Freight One Accounts for 25% of All Freight Car Repair Orders in Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia
Freight One had a total of 2555 freight cars repaired by companies in Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia in 2009. This figure accounts for 25% of all freight car repairs by companies in the region.
The repair companies, including the Ilan Depot in Ilan, Krasnoyarsk Territory; the Askiz Depot in Askiz, Khakassia; the Uzhur Depotin Uzhur, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Bogotol Freight Car Repair Plant OOO in Bogotol, Krasnoyarsk Territory are the core employers in their respective cities.
Given the needs of the regional economy, much of the repair work was done on the types of rolling stock that shippers most often request: gondolas (32%), tanks (45%), flatcars (15%) and boxcars (10%).
It should be noted that Freight One maintained the regional component of its order book even in the current recessionary environment while fulfilling its social mission to support Russian freight car repair companies.
